Kids’ & Teens’ Escape Room Parties in Hong Kong

Players searching through antique books and decor in the Secret Study escape room at Fox in a Box Hong Kong.

When people plan a party, the usual choice is a flexible party room — but the games on offer there are nothing like an escape room.

Fox in a Box Hong Kong runs escape rooms tailored to teens and children, set at an easier difficulty so the whole group can think, play and enjoy the thrill together, learning teamwork while they race to crack the case.

Whether it’s a birthday, a special celebration or a group competition, we’ll put on an inventive, surprise-filled party that sends every guest home with a unique and unforgettable memory.

What our kid-friendly rooms are like

Inside a Fox in a Box room, the whole group works together in a themed space, hunting for clues and the items they need to solve a series of puzzles and escape within 60 minutes. Life Sentence and Bunker are the best-suited rooms for younger players. Every room is completely safe — no jump-scares and no staff popping out — and each has a dedicated Game Master who watches and listens throughout to keep things safe and running smoothly.

Our themed rooms can be set to a “kid-friendly” version: the same number of puzzles as the standard game, but with extra hints and simpler clues so the difficulty suits children aged 8–16. We encourage kids to explore, find the clues and work as a team, while the Game Master offers hints whenever they’re needed.

Each room holds 2 to 8 players, with extra spaces available on request.

Birthdays and celebrations

If you’re celebrating a birthday or special occasion, we can weave special touches into the room — birthday cards, gifts, even a cake — to create a personalised surprise. Just arrange it with us before your game so we can brief your Game Master.

Age recommendation

Recommended for children aged 8 and above. Guardians don’t need to join the game.

Suggested rooms: Life Sentence and Bunker.
